Pam is a Cascade Academy Youth Mentor who discovered her passion for female centric wellbeing services 20+ years ago whilst working in a women’s refuge in the north of England.
Providing advocacy, crisis support, risk management and personal development to residents, Pam also delivered national awareness training on Domestic Violence and Abuse and the impact on mental health.
Funded by the British National Health Service, Pam facilitated evidence based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy self-help programmes to adults and teens diagnosed with anxiety and depression.
In 2016 Pam moved from her bustling historic home town of Stockport, England to the beautiful Wasatch Back where she is now privileged to combine her love of nature with the opportunity to mentor adolescent girls with anxiety so they may embrace life with courage and joy.
Using her experience in safety and risk assessing, Pam is Cascade Academy’s Safety Coordinator.
