Noemi was born in the Philippines where she lived for the first 22 years of her life. She has always loved to cook. Upon graduating from high school, she enrolled in Lyceum University where she studied culinary arts and graduated with her bachelor’s degree.
Noemi was recruited to come to the United States on an internship to cook with the team at Deer Valley in Park City. Following this internship, she spent time cooking at a resort in Maine. Noemi eventually moved back to Utah because she loved the friendly people and the beautiful surroundings.
Noemi loves working at Cascade Academy because she feels like she is cooking with a purpose; she enjoys playing an important role in the students' healing journey. Noemi also enjoys being a part of the kids’ day and interacting with them.
In her free time Noemi loves to adventure and be active. She especially loves winter activities like tubing and snowmobiling. When she is home, she likes to watch cooking shows (her favorite is Master Chef) and listening to True Crime Podcasts.
