Maddy Swift, CTRS
Recreation
Brief info

Maddy graduated from Brigham Young University of Idaho in Recreation Therapy with a specialization core in Youth and Correctional. Maddy has always had a passion for recreation and the positive impact it can have on an individual’s life. She has been able to share this passion with children, adolescents, and young adults for the past four years in a variety of settings: residential treatment centers, summer camping programs, guided outdoor trip groups, and mental health workshops.

Maddy believes that participation in activities that bring focus, control, enjoyment, and a healthy challenge inherently teaches an individual tools they need to overcome challenges in their life.

She has personal experience in creating a more fulfilling life of her own through recreation. Currently, her preferred forms of recreation include yoga, skateboarding, embroidery, playing guitar, and rock climbing. Though she is always looking for more activities that bring her joy. She is excited for the opportunity to help others recognize their own potential and explore what inspires them to live a more elevated life.
