Hannah Carter has her MSW who has worked with children and adolescents for the past 8 years in mental health settings. Hannah earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Brigham Young University before earning her Masters in Social Work with an emphasis in mental health and substance abuse from The Ohio State University. Hannah comes to Cascade Academy excited to work with students in an individualized manner, supporting them in their recovery from OCD and anxiety disorders.

Hannah’s clinical training includes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Radically Open DBT (RODBT). Hannah is a relational-based therapist and believes in the power of human connection. Hannah also believes in the healing power of the outdoors and seeks to teach her clients to empower themselves through their own arenas of play. Hannah's clients would describe her as warm, validating, playful, honest, and direct in a helpful way. When she is not working, Hannah enjoys several activities such as hiking, dance, kayaking, horseback riding, and reading. Hannah is always happy to bring her dog along on whatever adventure they can find.
