Annette is a Utah transplant who grew up in a military family and lived in many places and countries throughout her childhood. She came to Utah from Texas to attend college and obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Westminster College in 2007. While attending the University of Nebraska- Lincoln she earned a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision. She also has endorsements in theater and English as a second language.

Annette has spent over 15 years in the classroom as a teacher. She has held numerous leadership positions leading School Improvement Committees and PTA. Her education philosophy is to make learning fun and engaging for all students while building rapport so that they are passionate and excited to learn and be part of school. Each student holds a special place to her and she is committed to their success in life. She is excited to join Cascade Academy and share the passion of helping and supporting students to become the best version of themselves.

Annette has always enjoyed traveling and is taking the time to explore the state of Utah. She lived in Germany for three years and hopes to go back again and travel throughout Europe. She loves cooking, arts and crafts, and is a big history buff. Annette has four children of her own. When she isn't busy participating in their football, basketball or baseball activities, she enjoys spending time with her husband, whom she married this past May the 4th (they are Star Wars fans).
