The way we mentally approach and manage stress makes all the difference in our long term health and resilience. Semantics matter; and choosing words like “crazy busy” instead of “ready mode” is just one example of how we can reframe the challenges of life and shift our mindset from just surviving to excelling in high pressure. If we can adopt this confident mindset when we approach stress, we allow ourselves to be open to new skills of efficiency and are better able to problem solve. Anxiety is a belief that we won’t be able to manage the challenges that we will encounter. Changing the thoughts changes our approach and ultimately our experience.
