Brief info
Brad is a graduate of the University of Utah where he earned his B.S. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. He first entered the world of mental health treatment in 1986 working at a private psychiatric hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Over the course of his early career he served in various administrative positions for large hospital-based behavioral health facilities. In 1999 Brad witnessed first-hand the power of adolescent, residential treatment and has worked in this field since that time. He has served as the national director of business development specializing in wilderness, therapeutic and residential programming. As the COO and CEO of several residential treatment facilities Brad has witnessed various models of treatment and designed programming for multiple programs. He is quick to credit many of the healthcare staff, therapists and professionals that have supported him professionally and personally. In addition to helping so many promising youths throughout the years, Brad enjoys sharing ideas and creating long lasting friendships with other like-minded and committed individuals. Brad is excited lead Cascade Academy as they build the best treatment option for girls struggling with severe anxiety.
Most recently Brad and his wife Marilyn have been empty nesters living in Northern Idaho. They feel fortunate to return to the “Wasatch Back” and once again be close to their five children and nine grandchildren. Brad and Marilyn are passionate about creating a balanced life that includes a focus on family, spirituality, healthy eating, exercise, time in nature, and their own passion for helping others discover their path.
